Made’s Customs Street East boutique is a true treasure trove for fashion junkies, bringing together many of the fashion world’s most exciting names in one entirely original collection. It includes women’s and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories from top international labels and New Zealand designers.

The store itself retains much of the original detailing of the old warehouse space. Raw brick walls and distressed woodwork are offset with lush cut-glass chandeliers and vintage furniture: the perfect backdrop for Made’s eclectic, ever-changing line-up of beautiful, colourful and offbeat pieces.

International fashion showcase

You’ll find European labels like DAY Birger et Mikkelsen, APC and Motel alongside New Zealand designers such as Miss Crabb, Hailwood, Ingrid Starnes and Karen Walker.

Edgy pieces from Kron by Kronkron and Saint Augustine Academy sit next to knitwear from Standard Issue and luxurious T-shirts from Majestic Paris. There’s denim from Nobody, Cheap Monday and Nudie Jeans and shoes from Beau Coops, Sempre Di and Vivienne Westwood for Melissa.

Made also does a fine line in accessories, ranging from Deadly Ponies bags to sunglasses from Flint, Henry Holland for Le Specs and Karen Walker Eyewear, plus jewellery from Zoe & Morgan and Karen Walker.

And not to be missed, a fabulous range of vintage and pre-owned handbags and accessories from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Balenciaga, Chloé, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Prada and Dior.
