BRITOMART’S FULL PERSONAL PARKING SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AS WELL AS PRECINCT BUSINESSES AND THEIR VISITORS.

Britomart Valet operates out of Britomart Car Park on the corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place. Valet parking costs just $10 on top of normal parking rates, or a flat rate of $25 at Central Valet (see below).  

There are two vehicle drop-off points: the main valet parking area accessed off Britomart Place; and Central Valet, on the corner of Gore and Tyler Streets in the centre of the precinct.

Public valet parking

Valet parking is available at the main Britomart Car Park valet area from 6.30am Monday to Friday and 9am on Saturdays.

Drive in via the Britomart Place entrance, where you’ll be greeted by a friendly valet concierge. Just leave your engine running, take your ticket and off you go.

When you’re ready to pick up your car, you can text ahead or request your car in person at Britomart Car Park Reception (corner Britomart Place and Scene Lane). Your car will be retrieved while you wait in the comfortable lobby area.

Central Valet drop-off point

The Central Valet drop-off point is located on the corner of Gore and Tyler Streets, opposite Takutai Square (entrance on Gore Street).

Cars dropped here will be valet parked at Britomart Car Park. You can retrieve your car at any time by taking your valet ticket to Britomart Car Park Reception on the corner of Britomart Place and Scene Lane.

Valet parking via Central Valet is a flat rate of $25 for 12 hours. Hours of operation are:

Monday to Friday        10am-8pm
Saturday                      1pm-9pm
Sunday                        Closed

Please note that Central Valet is a service for casual valet users only. Britomart tenants will continue to be valet parked via the Britomart Place valet area at Britomart Car Park.

Britomart businesses

If you’d like to offer your customers or visitors complimentary valet parking, you can set up an account to allow their parking charges to be invoiced back to your business. Contact enquiries@cooperandcompanyparking.org for more information.

If you would like to be set up as a regular business user of the valet service yourself, you’ll be issued with a valet user’s pack. This includes a vehicle-specific barcode sticker for your car and a barcode tag for your key ring.

To allow you to enter and exit the car park after hours, you’ll be issued with a car park access card or your office building access card will be programmed for access.

The combination of window pass, key tag and access card allows you access to Britomart Car Park 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Visitors to Britomart businesses

If you’re visiting a business with a Britomart Valet account, drive in through the valet parking entrance on Britomart Place, or  into the Central Valet drop-off point on Gore Street. You’ll be greeted by a valet concierge and exchange your keys for a valet ticket.

Take your ticket with you and while you’re at the business you’re visiting, present it at their reception for validation. When you’re ready to retrieve your car, present your validated ticket at Britomart Car Park Reception (on the corner of Britomart Place and Scene Lane). You’ll have the validated amount deducted from your parking fee, pay the difference (if any) and be directed to your vehicle.

If you've parked your car yourself, you can still present your ticket for complimentary parking validation. Once validated, insert it into an auto-pay machine and the validated amount will be deducted from your parking fee.
