Nike+ Run Club Hits the Road at Britomart
The world’s largest running initiative, Nike+ Run Club, has come to Auckland for the first time and will be based at Nike Britomart.
It’s a weekly social meet for runners of all levels that offers stacks of motivation, support and guidance – as well as plenty of fun along the way.
Starting 17 August 2011, Nike+ Run Club Auckland will meet every Wednesday 6pm at the Nike Britomart store.
There’ll be a choice of three distances over pre-mapped-out routes, 4.5km, 5.7km and 8.3km, and pacers setting different paces with each group.
Like running with a personal trainer, there’ll be the opportunity for personalised goal-setting, programme development and advice.
Unlike running with a personal trainer, adjourning to a drinking establishment afterwards will be actively encouraged. Get your shoes on and get down there!
