Tickled Pink: Breast Cancer Month at Britomart

Tickled Pink: Breast Cancer Month at Britomart

October is officially the month to think pink with a gorgeous variety of limited edition beauty products, delish degustation menus and more at Britomart in aid of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

Britomart Country Club is hosting a series of ‘Tickled Pink’ ladies luncheons. The events are taking place from 12pm to 2pm every Tuesday throughout October, with a starry lineup of ladies due to mix and mingle with guests including Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan and Pebbles Hooper.

The lunches comprise a delicious five-course degustation menu designed by executive chef Sam Campbell, with a different New Zealand winery providing a wine match for each luncheon.

Tickets to the Tickled Pink charity lunches are $80 per person with $15 going towards The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. Email info@britomartcountryclub.co.nz to book.

White's & Co. is also getting into the pink swing of things with a rosy-hued froyo concoction: The Breast Cancer Cup. The limited edition charity cup is made with White’s & Co.’s delicious berry frozen yoghurt and is served with strawberries and pink chocolate buttons. Yum!

If you’d rather be pretty in pink, look no further than Bobbi Brown’s gorgeous limited edition French Pink Set featuring a Pink Ribbon Embossed French Pink Blush and a Mini Face Blender Brush.

The delightful blush duo will be in store at Britomart from 7 October, with 20% of the $90 retail price going towards The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

There will also be boxes of pink goodies – including wristbands, nail files, notebooks and ribbons – in store at Bobbi Brown and Jo Malone throughout October, so pop in, pick something pretty and make a donation to a very worthy cause.

Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone and M.A.C Cosmetics’ parent company, Estée Lauder, is also hosting a Pink Walk at the Auckland Domain on 5 October in aid of breast cancer research. The event is a twilight walk and you can register to take part at www.pinkstarwalk.co.nz.

Last but not least, if you, or someone you know is recovering from breast cancer, Sara from Britomart’s Peak Pilates & Physiotherapy is certified in PINC Pilates Physiotherapy, which helps women recovering from cancer to regain their physical and emotional strength.

The PINC Pilates Trust will contribute towards the three first sessions at Peak Pilates. You can read more about the PINC Cancer Rehabilitation Program online, or contact Peak Pilates Britomart for more information by emailing britomart@peakpilates.co.nz or calling 09 377 1718.
